Dogs and chocolate Tip of the Day
If dogs eat chocolate, vomiting, hyperactivity, diarrhea, seizures and even death can follow. The poison is theobromine, present in greater concentrations in darker chocolates. Keep all chocolate away from your dog. If some is swallowed, call Poison Control to see if the amount swallowed will be a problem.
