Poison-Related Product Recalls
What is a product recall?
A product recall is a request to return, exchange, replace, or destroy a product after a potentially hazardous defect or contamination is detected. Companies may recall products when consumers, regulators, manufacturers, or retailers find safety issues, defects, or other problems with them that may pose a risk to their users. According to USA.gov, product recalls protect the public from products that may cause illness or injuries.
