Col. Aaron Jacobs, PhD is the Division Chief of the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, Division of Forensic Toxicology. He will be available for consultation and the Fellows will learn Forensic Toxicology from his staff during their rotation at USUHS.

Sveta Chernestokova, PhD has been a Research Associate in the Division of Clinical Pharmacology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD since 1996. She is an innovative and highly motivated research scientist with solid background in analytical chemistry, organic chemistry and clinical pharmacology. She has extensive experience in quantitative analytical method development/validation by chromatography (reversed phase, ion-exchange, size exclusion)/mass spectrometry in a GLP setting. She also has over ten years of research in analytical chemistry and clinical pharmacology. She will be responsible for teaching laboratory toxicology to the Medical Toxicology Fellows during their rotation at USUHS.

 Zoology/Veterinarian: Michael Davenport, BS

BS Zoology 1970, has worked at the National Zoological Park, Washington DC since 1972 in roles including curator and collection manager, Department of Herpetology.
